Crowns & Bridges
Crowns and bridges are dental restorations used to cover or replace damaged, missing, or weak teeth.
Crowns are tooth-shaped caps that are placed over the existing tooth to restore its size, shape, and strength, and improve its appearance. They can be made of various materials like porcelain, ceramic, metal, or a combination of materials. The different types of crowns are:
Ceramic crowns: These are made of porcelain and provide a natural tooth-like appearance, making them suitable for front teeth.
Porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns: These are a combination of porcelain and metal, making them strong and durable, making them ideal for back teeth.
Gold crowns: These are made of gold or gold alloys, making them strong, durable, and long-lasting.
All-resin crowns: These are made of composite resin, making them the most affordable type of crown.

Types Of Dental Bridges
Bridges, on the other hand, are dental restorations used to replace one or more missing teeth. They consist of one or more artificial teeth called pontics, which are supported by dental crowns on either side of the gap. The different types of bridges are:
Traditional bridges: These are the most common type of bridges and consist of a pontic supported by two dental crowns.
Cantilever bridges: These are used when there is only one supporting tooth on one side of the gap.
Maryland bridges: These are also called resin-bonded bridges and consist of a pontic that is attached to the adjacent teeth using metal or porcelain wings.
